So I have my NB OC'd to 2000MHz with +.072 on the voltage. Is this needed to help my CPU overclock? I've heard that it's just to help the iGPU overclock, is this true? I'm not using my iGPU, so can I take down the OC? Also my computer randomly freezes while doing simple things like, watching YouTube videos. Could this be a OC instability? I have my CPU at 4.4GHz, with +.102 on the core. Thanks guys.

As far as I know, overclocking your northbridge does not significantly improve the overclocking of your processor.  I assume that you're talking about the "Current PC" link that's in your signature, because you didn't include any other information.  What do you need better iGPU performance for, as you're using an R9 280?

If your computer randomly freezes, it is almost certainly instability in your overclock.  You should probably bring your overclock down a few notches and do a more thorough validation.

I said I don't need iGPU since I'm not using it. I'll bring down my NB OC and see if that helps it at all.
