[Live USB] - BOOT error (Ubuntu)

I have downloaded the newest Ubuntu (14.1) as an ISO, put it (and extracted it) onto a USB but when I plug it into a laptop I have I get a "boot error" when I try to get Ubuntu to run and or install. What's the issue?

Is there an error code? Is it just the Ubuntu ISO or does it happen with any Linux ISO?

Haven't tried other distros, It's just a small "Boot error" in the top left corner of the screen.

Probably incomplete ISO file.

Did you format the Flashdrive?

It's FAT 32, not NTFS, I doubt something like that would prevent an install.

May be go to the BIOS and reset boot priority to USB drive.

I am using a program called LiLI USB creator (linux live USB creator) that's supposed to download the distros as an ISO file, and I guess make it useable for (live) installs. Downloading Mint, at the moment.
