Overclocking help

Hi guys,

 

My build Im planning on doing soon will be overclocked. The only issue is that I don't know how to overclock my system haha

I have a  Intel Core i5-4690K running on a Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 motherboard. What would the steps required be to stably overclock my cpu?

Eventhough this is for the Pentium, the same principles are in play

You basically raise the multiplier untill it's unstable, and then you raise the voltage.

hahah I remember in one of linus' other overclocking videos he stated that you can have a k series that won't overclock at all and others that just go insane..I Do hope i win!
