I'm having overclocking stability issues.

So, I have a 3570K on an AsRock Pro3. I just installed a Cooler Master Seidon 240M, which I love, but I am not getting much of an improvement in temps. I am trying to overclock my 3570K to 4.4GHz which is as high as I can get it at safe temps (80-85 degrees.) I am using Intel Burn Test to test the overclock, and my computer will either:

1. Bluescreen with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

2. The results of IBT don't match, and therefore it's unstable.

 

My clock speed is 4400MHz, and the voltage offset is +0.020V. Do I have to raise the voltage and keep testing it? What do you guys recommend?

85 degrees still pretty hot for a 240mm Liquid cooler :O

you should try to get a stable 4Ghz OC and a temp for about max 70degree to be safe for hot summers..

I'll say the same, I had to delid mine. Best decision ever.
