Hi there @HEAD OF LEAD!

 

You can clone or backup using Windows, but in my opinion it's easier to use software that was made for this exact purpose. Since you have a WD drive, you can use the WD edition of Acronis True Image, which you can download from here: http://goo.gl/RtLCqV
