A good mid range graphics card

I play with a 20' monitor (900p native), and I have an i5 4460 with a 6850. 8GB of RAM. 

What would be a good mid range upgrade?

770 is out of contention and has been for some time. Vram crippled and priced out of the market ... the only reson to get one is to claim you fanboy allegiance.

Yeah guess so. I mean there are better options. OP go for 280 unless you can find a good deal on something better on Black Friday.

Yeah a 280, that's what I've got. It can run games at 1360-768 everything max including AA, 60+ FPS.

AMD owns it unless you are going for a 970/980. Seen an R9 270 Msi For $199 in Canada so probably even cheaper in US.

There was quite a few monitors sold with that resolution at one time and the PS4 runs games @ 900P = match made in heaven LOL .
