I think @NannerBeans wanted to get some of these to try, not sure if he got them yet.

Fostex is a good company for sure, they've been doing some good stuff in the audio realm for quite some time now.

I haven't heard to much about their IEM's though.

Another thing to check out in that price range would be the UM Pro 10, they should be more comfortable in your ears and they have a balanced sound.

Well I just remembered that he already commented on my review so he's probably looking for a second opinion.

oic.

You should get a pair of um pro 10, test em and return afterwards and let me know how they are vs the fostex's, I'm thinking about getting a pair for mobile stuff, but haven't decided yet.

But me poor. And I'm pretty much a Fostex fanboy at this point... Lol

Just an observation, I love cans, but have never quite gotten why some are so into IEM's, and the more expensive CIEM's. I was looking through the local forums' audio threads and there are some very, very pricey CIEM's that I've not heard of till then. Last one posted a pic of a set of CIEM's that looked really odd (it was hooked up to an Astell & Kern AK240), I couldn't even begin to identify it nor could I fathom the attraction to it. Someone later identified it as a Harmony 8, I think these two are easily priced at 3k-4kUSD. It simply boggles the mind when I see such portable hardware prices.....and that some are able to buy them.
