Microsoft - "Gamers Without Internet Can Stick With 360"

From Don Mattrick of Microsoft.

“"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it’s called Xbox 360,” said Mattrick.

“If you have zero access to the Internet, that is an offline device.”

I think this comes off as too rude and prideful. I also realize that Internet penetration is fairly thorough by now. But many of the moves made by Microsoft  seem to scream 'WE KNOW BETTER THAN OUR CUSTOMERS.'

I'm also curious to see what good sides if any anyone has seen in Microsoft's plans. Everywhere I look they seem to have fallen for the same hubris Sony did with the PS3 launch.

My rig: 2600k(4.2 GHz) w/ Cooler Master hyper 212+, Gigabyte Z68-UD3H-B3, Powercolor 7870 xt(1100/1500) w/AIO mod,

Verified max overclock, just for kicks: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2609399

There are alot of these threads going around today. Third one I've seen. Yes its rude and makes people not want to buy their products. Though I don't think microsoft will have a shortage of sales because of all their loyal fanboys or the "mlg" players who only play cod and want their dlc early.
