Need a Video Camera.

I need to buy a video camera, but I don't really know anything about them. It'll be used to shoot racing videos IRL, some family activities+ also I'd like to actually make a nice video about my computer setup instead of using my sh*tty ipod.

 

I think the budget is around 300$.  Please lemme know what I can get for that+ whether it's good etc.

Canon Powershot 320HS is like $140 on Amazon lol

 

 

What about camcorders?   I can spend a little more than 140$, I was looking at the  Sony HDR-CX190, Canon Vixia HF R300  Are those any good? I googled best camcorders for under 300$ those came up on a list lol
