Question about the G502

First of all, I do realize that there's another thread about the G502 but is it worth it? I'm currently using the G700 but since It's a bit used I've decided to buy a new gaming mouse and a lot of people seem to LOVE the G502.

Pros and cons?

 

Also, I've heard that it has a bit of weight in order for the sensor to be better (I'm not sure) meaning that it's a bit heavy. I tend to paly a lot of FPS and LOL meaning that I have to move the mouse rapidly. Would this mouse be bad for that?

Its the same weight as the G700s with no battery. I recently weighed them as I thought they felt a similar weight.

It's an awesome mouse; and the best one I've used to date. (my last mouse was a Performance Mouse MX, and I can safely say the g502 is infinitely better). As for the weight being an issue....I play Dota just fine on my g502; plus it's similar in weight to the g700.

It's an excellent mouse, perhaps a little heavy but that hasn't caused any issues for me.

Btw, I had antoher question for all logitech users. What's the difference between this and the G602? And also whichi s better since they're both the same price ._.

Sintaen I don't use this mouse, but the differences I know of are that the g602 is wireless (usually more latency) and has a lower maximum dpi (cpi) at 2500 instead of 12000 (ridiculously high).

Oh I see. One last question, do I need a mousepad to use this? I've always used laser sensor mouses and no rubber at the bottom of the mouse (seeing the G502 has a bit of rubber at the bottom) and I play in a wooden desk. Is it a big problem?

G602 is wireless and powered buy two AA alkaline batteries. It has a max dpi of 2500dpi and can be changed in 250dpi steps. Its max polling rate is 500hz in performance mode. Its button layout and grip is quite a bit different.

G502 unless you need/want wireless. I also think the layout of the buttons is better on the G502.

What do you think about the fact that it has no pinky or ring finger rest? Going from a G600 to G502 I feel like I'm going to miss a lot the ring figner and pinky rest especially since I have average-big hands. What do you think?

G502 has a thumb rest and you fingers go on the side. It's skinnier than the 400s and 500s but that's not necessarily bad.
