If it doesnt support the power savings states, I believe it just won't go into the certain power states. You should be just fine, but you won't be able to take full advantage of Haswell's power saving features.

Yeah but why are people saying i should disable those states though the bios?

Maybe because it might potentially be harmful with it on (unlikely)

 

-or they're referring to overclocking problems that non-haswells used to have when overclocking.
