Haswell power saving state

I installed my I5 4670K today,and my power supply is a seasonic 620w s12ii,

from what i read it doesnt support the haswell power saving states,

but my computer works fine so far.

should i worry?

If it doesnt support the power savings states, I believe it just won't go into the certain power states. You should be just fine, but you won't be able to take full advantage of Haswell's power saving features.

Yeah but why are people saying i should disable those states though the bios?

Maybe because it might potentially be harmful with it on (unlikely)

 

-or they're referring to overclocking problems that non-haswells used to have when overclocking.

According to Anandtech the S0ix sleep state was disabled by Intel on all desktop models. So ya don't need to worry about it!
