Low end graphics cards are not worth getting.

It is better to pay a tad bit more to aim for that "sweet spot" for the "most bang for your buck".

These two videos do a good job explaining it.

You are better off using an iGPU than spending for a useless card

The best budget graphics card is whatever $100 GPU is on sale for cheap. Lowest I would ever go of the current generation is an R9 260x or a 750 Ti.

If you absolutely cannot spend $100, then I would probably try and buy used from Amazon (NOT ebay). Amazon strongly favors buyers and it's almost like buying used from a store, but there's still a risk so keep that in mind. However I'd personally gladly take that risk instead of buying some piece of crap shitty cheapo budget GPU.

You do understand that these gpu's are 30$, also a good thing to say is that I need to use it since my motherboard doesnt have a graphics chipset so its going to replace that

Well than you should've explained why you need low end graphics cards from the first place.

To answer your question, they are pretty much the exact same GPU, the only difference being the R5 having more memory and it being newer.

http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R5-220-vs-Radeon-HD-5450

I'll recommend the R5 220, as you would be able to receive aftermarket support unlike a card released in 2015. (And more memory, but does it really make a difference...)

What is the price difference in between both of these cards?

I mean if you're able to get the 5450 for around $5 on Craigslist, than why not get that instead? (And save some money...) (Buy yourself a decent lunch with the remaining $25)  :P

You're right, I shoulda included that, also the r5 220 is about 5$ more exspensive.
