Gotta remove PG without using a nail

So if you don't know already I've gotten 2 replacements already because of my fingernail damaging the adhesive layering which creates ugly bubbles. I've made a topic like this before but I'm too lazy to fish it out. Anyway one of the only suggestions was to use scotch tape. I've tried that and duct tape, both of which do not work. So is there a certain way to remove PG with tape that I'm just not doing correctly? Or can I do something else like a suction cup? Which I have not tried

I would try a suction cup.

Are you seriously lazy in trying to get suction cups from the car?

It's best to use tape since it breaks the seal between the glass protector and the screen for it to come off easily, you need to get some tape that is extremely sticky since the glass is so smooth, as for suction cups try those small ones for lifting phone screens.

I would try to use something like 3M exterior double stick tape, since that stuff sticks to basically everything, glass is a bit hard to stick especially with PG coatings, you'll need to carefully peel it off after.

If you go suction cup these will definitely do the job:

so! masking tape didn't work. duct tape didn't work. scotch tape didn't work. 1 suction cup from a sunlight blocker didn't work, hope 2 actually fucking works! PG wasn't much help either as they wanted me to lift the glass up!

Not sure why your having so much trouble but it should lift pretty easily as long as you can get it started, that's usually the hard part, if you have a plastic phone opening tool try to lift it by hooking or grabbing the edge, and not the bottom of the glass course.

Other than that you may need a beefier or more suction cups, just go slow and take your time.

No don't do that, that will damage the silicone type glue they use to stick it to the phone, it should be stuck on the top of the screen protector but glass is very hard to get tape to stick to, since this method is more for the plastic type screen protectors.

The tape that I have is all shit. All of it. Doesn't stick if it's life depended on it. So what tape do you use to get it off? I'll also need to buy a good suction cup to try to get this off

Last time I installed one/removed one for a friend I used a plastic pry tool for fixing phones to carefully lift the edge, a little troublesome but it worked.

If you have some aluminum foil tape or some red tuck tape both of those are very sticky but not tacky so it won't leave a residue, not too sure what else you can really try without a suction cup.
