Ok so I have 2 GPU that are GTX 780 Ti and a GTX 980 4GB from MSI. Can it be done in the same motherboard? Or it would mess up the system? Cause I wanna do a comparison test between these two.

You do know that switching GPU's isn't all that hard... Switching CPU's is A LOT harder....

You could therroretlcly use the 980 as your main card and the 780ti as a dedicated physx card.

even tho there is no point in that

Can you explain to me why it's easier to change a GPU than it is to change a CPU O.o Not counting all the cables you have to worry about....

Both are easier in less you have a Corsair H100i as the CPU cooler then maybe little challenging but overall it's easier. I'm just too lazy to keep changing it. I just want to switch DVI and HDMI cable arounder to see what performances I would get.

linus has done this before where he mixes amd cards and nvidia cards together in one machine and do video game testing off of it. to make sure that the game runs on the desired card, all he did was change the monitor output to the card he wanted to check and change the primary display to relate to the card and tht was it, testing 2 totally different gpus from even different brands with 2 drivers installed on one system, if i find the vid, ill update with a future post

System: Intel Core i3 3240 @ 3.4GHz, EVGA GTX 960 SSC 2GB ACX 2.0, 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Kingston HyperX RAM, ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0 Motherboard, Corsair CX430 W Power Supply

Unless you're changing out your case.

No I mean, what's a cake walk?!

I once bent 3 pins on my MOBO and had to spend ~9 hours with my dad trying to fix it, REBUILD EVERYTHING, and meet a corrupted windows, THEN i had to Reinstall windows, BUT then I realized the Rad wasn't getting power, so WE HAD TO REMOVE THE MOBO, AND RAD to see that the cable had a cut in it, so THEN WE FIXED it and Had to Reinstall it all again. (we had to remove the mobo for pump because the cable clearance is REALLY small and was impossible to reach unless we removed the mobo)

And i usually reinstall windows on my laptop(s) every month or so
