$950 Gaming PC with Peripherals and Monitor - Help?

Happy Camper

It's cheap, has decent cable management, doesn't look or feel like crap.

What other cases would you recommend?

I just want to give my friend some extra options in case he likes a different case more than the 210.  Also, I noticed that the 210 doesn't have USB 3 on its front IO panel. Should I be concerned?

In your opinion, should I include rebates in the price of the PC?

It depends if he actually needs front usb3.0 headers....if he doesn't and the ones on the motherboards I/o are fine then it really doesn't matter. Also, I believe the source 220 has usb3.0 (albeit it's not priced as well usually).

What do you mean should you include rebates....unless your friend is a complete moron he will get the rebate money back (even if it does take a couple months). So the question is can he afford to put out the total amount of money without rebates and wait for the rebate money to return?

What types of things might require USB3.0?

How widespread will Mantle be?  Should I consider replacing the GTX 970 with an R9 290x?  I know that with non-Mantle games the 970 will perform better, but how many games support and will support Mantle?  Also, what other benefits are there to the 970?
