No, unless they're doing something not intended for the chipset. Usually, overclocking is reserved for a Z chipset MoBo and K series CPUs, and you'll want an aftermarket CPU cooler to deal with the extra heat. Also watch out as his build has about $80 worth of rebates, bumping the initial cost before rebates to over $800.

No, an i5 is. Xeon would be good if you wanted better multi-threaded performance, but an i5 won't bottleneck those games anyway so the Xeon gives you performance in a direction that doesn't matter to you. The first build I posted is probably the best option for you, provided you aren't anal about boot/load times. SSDs are luxury items and do not help at all with in-game performance, so I didn't include one.
