hdd keeps spinning up

hy guys, 

i have been having this problem since i got my build together, my hdd keeps spinning up for no apparent reason, i've disabled indexing for the disk and i've also disable virtual memory on the disk as well as setting the power option to spin down the drive after one minute of no use. however, the drive spins down after a couple minutes but it spins up again just after two minutes. My main issue is that i want the drive to spin down to reduce the noise coming from it, because it is resonating with the bottom of the case (corsair 750D) and it gets really loud. it should also mention that is a WD caviar black just used for storage (stuff like music and pictures) and games that  barely use.

This may seem like a stupid question, but you do have a SSD as well, right?

 

Because otherwise, of course windows would need to read from the HDD constantly.

yes of course i have a samsung 850 pro as the boot and system drive
