Program that disables Windows key while gaming?

he keyboards I've used were the newish Mac keyboards(that come with Macs) and the laptop ones in the Dell Lattitude series and from what I can tell they seem to be the same switches. The mac had chic-let keys while the dell had standard but the rubber domes from what I remember were about the same. I don't really know why you weren't able to or maybe we used diffrent kinds of rubber domes or something.

I think you are thinking of Topre Keyboards. I don't know enough about them to comfortably tell you about them but they are supposedly a combination of the feelings of membrane and mechanical.

Older membrane keyboards are the way I described. You can't physically press the button without a keycap.

Can someone explain to me the issue with the windows key? What does it do to people? Almost every high end keyboard has a lock windows button...why?

When gaming, if you accidentally press it, it minimizes your window.   This is especially annoying in FPS games, as its gotten me killed more times than I can count.

And then, the caps lock when you use WASD and use try to run but instead press Caps. It's also freaking annoying.

I can honestly say I have never once did that. I wasn't even sure that it was real until I just tested it now.

I have to agree. I have never hit the Windows key by accident, and I did just check to see if games were blocking it.
