Compact case recomendation

Was looking forward to upgrade by pc by changing the case and for some reason my thoughts always go in the direction of small cases.

 

Seen some cases on the interwebs and LTT but still cant decide.

 

First question is what form factor is better the cube one or the console "flat" like

 

And then witch of them is better on upgradability , expandability , build quality and p/$

 

Checked out the Silverstone Raven cases , Lian Li pc-q19 , Bitfenix products and some others

 

So may any of you can share personal opinions or recomend any potential cases?

 

For some reason in my head i see fan filters as a requirement(but i still could take a case without em and then mod it if the need occurs)

I think the flat small form factor cases don't have enough room for your GPU standing up. You'll have to use a PCI riser with that.

 

Personally, I like the looks of the Fractal Design Node 304.
