I honestly cant see any difference between the two boards besides color and some missing VGA and DVI ports on the AR. Does anyone know any more info between the two.

Its the exact same motherboard.  I own the AR, and love the AR.  Definitely buy this motherboard.  The only difference between it and the -A are the DVI and VGA ports on the back, which aren't necessary because if you're using a dedicated GPU, you plug your monitor in there.  Also, if you do need to trouble shoot, you can still use HDMI with the AR.
