Kepler K80 ;D otherwise R9 295X2 and if you wanted a single gpu its the GTX 980(and you can oc it a lot).

yea i have the 980 not considering upgrading it was just a thought that occurred to me and i was curious about it

At the moment I'd say GTX 980. The R9 295X2 is a more powerful card but each of its GPUs has less graphical performance than a single 980. Still beats it in compute performance, I think. AMD tends to put more emphasis on that than nVidia does. Anyway, you shouldn't bother with dual GPUs. In fact, I wouldn't even recommend the most powerful single GPU. Usually the second-most powerful card of any brand offers the best performance for your money. That said in your sig I see you've already got one. Enjoy your purchase. It'll serve you well.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

well, there are the quadro's and tesla's (?) from nvidea and amd their firepro's, but these aren't really meant for playing games. + chances are you couldn't afford it
