steam streaming question

Im from the land of australia where the upload speed is a big pile of poo.

my question is if i want to stream games from my desktop to my laptop do you have to have good internet speed or just a good modem/router?

You will just need to have a good network speed within your house. I personally have not tried it yet, but from what I have heard you should be either using wireless AC or just a wired connection.

 

Steam streaming does not go outside of your network, it is fundamentally just a way of sending a manipulatable video signal over a network connection.
