The ram will work.

And yes, the cards should be plenty.

I would however get a Crucial MX100 or Adata SP900 instead of the 850 pro, as the pro is unnecessarily expensive, unless you're writing terabytes of data daily.

I'd also go with a Seagate Barracuda 2gb drive instead.

and I'd go with an EVGA G2 750w psu and save some money.

Finally, a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970 would be better than an Asus Strix 970

Storage: SAMSUNG 850 PRO 512 MB

512MB 850 PRO! SWEET!

Do you really need a 512GB 850 Pro tho? You could save tons of money by dropping down to a 512GB MX100, The performance of the (512GB) MX100 is still very similar to the 850, 850 has a bit faster IOPS and much longer warranty and wayyyy better endurance & also Samsung Magician, But you won't notice that stuff in the real world, So drop to a 512GB MX100 and save tons of money! To spend on other parts.

These are all a waste of money.

Get a MSI Z97 G45 Gaming motherboard

Get HyperX Fury RAM

Get at most an ADATA SP900

Get an EVGA 750G2/850G2

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB X2

The Gigabyte G1 970 is a better card then the Asus one. Please don't fall for the bandwagon just because everyone else likes the Asus.
