Help with H100i

Go to solution Solved by arodriguez94,

I fit my h100i WITH an optical drive in. It is a tight fit but it does work.

Hey guys.. So there's a problem with my first build.

I'm working with a corsair 250d and an asus z79i plus motherboard. When I try to fit the h100i into the case the bottom tube hits the usb 3.0/mouse port, preventing it from fitting in the slot. Is there any way to work around this?

I'm planning on installing an optical drive.. would that obstruct it?

I just looked at a few images of the case with a h100i in it, and looks like you won't be able to install an optical drive because none of the pics showed one with the cooler installed. You could always go for an external optical drive.

Well, I tried rotating it but the tubes hits the front fan. If I remove that won't my computer overheat?

Try to get one of these:

So that way the fan won't accidentally hit the tubing and cause problems.
