Help with a decision

Go to solution Solved by rashdanml,

550 Ti is still a capable card. If you do upgrade though, I'd wait until the 750 Ti or even the 760 Ti; not much point upgrading by 1 generation when the next is already on its way. The K70 is a good keyboard as well, and if you don't mind waiting about 2 months, it'll be available in MX Brown and Blue switches.

I have a bit of a dilemma. I want to buy the corsair k70 to replace the keyboard i have now but i want to upgrade my graphics card as well. I feel as if my gtx 550 ti might be out of date but if it isn't then i will wait to upgrade it to a 650 ti.

keyboard i have:  http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/v5keyboard.htm

and then the k70 keyboard : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823816010

and the card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127730

thanks to anyone who helps and please tell me if i'm posting in the wrong area.

If you are noticing a performance drop in games then it may be time to upgrade your GPU however if you don't see any noticible difference and you are happy with the experience you are getting then buy the K70 and wait and see for something like a GTX 760 that might be coming soon, don't forget that you can always sell your old graphics card to make a bit of money to go towards a new one
