Webcam Issues

Does anyone know the name of the webcam in the asus zenbook ux303la? I'm having issues with it being recognized in windows 8.1 (device manager, skype, and the camera app). I want to know so that I can try to search for drivers online (which asus doesn't seem to provide on the asus ux303la support page).

I already sent an email to asus and the only fixes right now are updating the intel chipset driver and loading defaults in the bios (both of which I tried, using both bios versions 203 and 204). Device manager is giving showing me an unrecognized USB device in which the "Device Desciptor Request Failed" which I suspect is the device in question.

Device status:   Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

If there is any other solution to this problem, it is welcome.
