Hi all,

I'm looking to create two simple batch files, for swapping between 60hz and 144hz on my main monitor. The reason being, my GPU goes from 55c idle to a 65c idle when moving from 60-144hz, apparently this is because the card doesn't properly power down to its idle state. I'd like to avoid the heat, running fans, and power draw if possible.

Currently that means Right Click > Screen Resolution > Select Monitor > Advanced Settings > Select refresh rate > Ok.

Which although a small job, is a ballache if I have to do that every time I open/close a game.

I know how a batch file works, I know how to make one, but I have NO IDEA what commands/code to write for this.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

I don't think it's possible to do such a thing with a .batch file. But try this program instead where you can make a hotkey for such a fucntion
