Why hello guys :3

I want to upgrade my pc this is my current setup:

CPU: Intel i3-4160

Mobo: Asrock h81m-itx

RAM: 8GB Curcial ballistix tracer

GPU: GTX 660(don't want to replace this one)

PSU: Corsair RM450

CASE: Fractal design node 304

I want to upgrade my CPU and Mobo but just one at a time. But would it be worth to upgrade now to a 4690k or would it be smart to wait for the new mobo's and cpu ?

Yes is worth but if future you will need a better gpu too because the 660 is not the best and actually you may want to upgrade that soon

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

A 4690k would be a Great improvement and it will hold up nicely.
Later down the road you could upgrade to a 970 when you feel you need it.
At the moment it looks like Graphics cards are getting higher and higher loads while the CPU stays relatively the same
so your CPU wont be lacking in the near future.

The reason I don't want to upgrade my gpu is that I only play League of legends and sometimes Bf4 so yeah but I'll upgrade my cpu and in couple months mobo :D
