Moving battlefield 4

Go to solution Solved by UnknownEngineer,

Origin will only look for the game in the installation directory, if you change the directory to the same folder where you have BF4 in then it will auto detect the game.

I have done this a few times, the games in the old directory will still work just fine, just remember to change the installation directory every time you are installing a game, and want it to be in a certain place. Unlike steam, origin only allows for one installation directory, although game that were previously installed will still work, regardless whether they are in the current installation directory or not.

Hi!

I'm trying to move my Battlefield 4 to my ssd so it can load faster but when i move it and says to origin where the download folder is it says "download" not play and i don't have space to "download" the game again even temporary i only have 7 gb left on the drive after moving the game. what can i do to fix it?

Click download, it will find the files youve already installed and say youre good to go. Also in the settings make sure you change the install location to your ssd

So i decided to re-install but i think i know how to do now. if you press download and when it starts pause the download and copy the files it shoud make origin think that it has already been downloaded. but i have not tried this yet.

You need to have the game copy pasted into the target folder before you start the download.
