Do you need it now? I would recommend waiting for the release of the 390x cards before deciding (grrr i got my 290x for 550USD 2 weeks before the price drop) Dont be like me and be patient

Well I don't know pretty much anything about any of Apple's OS's TBH (pure lack of interest) but I think there could be some compatibility issues with certain hardware (GPU included I'm guessing). What's your budget anyway?

I would suggest getting a 970 if you cant wait for the 390x :P

How much do you have to spend? GTX 7xx series cards all work using Nvidia Web Drivers for Maxwell cards i.e. 750(ti) and GTX 9xx

Well I don't know pretty much anything about any of Apple's OS's TBH (pure lack of interest) but I think there could be some compatibility issues with certain hardware (GPU included I'm guessing). What's your budget anyway?

 

Trying to get one by next week. budget $200-350

I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2048 MB. Trying to get something better. 

A bit of a costly upgarde, I would say the GTX 970 would be a good target but then you should sell the GTX 760. Also remember GTX 9XX cards have an issue with the driver where some ports don't work on some cards. My GTX 980 doesn't output HDMI in OS X.
