I am trying to play the "Cinema" game mode in Garry's Mod, but it requires Adobe Flash Player in order for it to work. I have Adobe Flash (I think anyone who owns a computer does) but it can't detect it.

The server's guide, the people on the server, and people on Steam forums said that you have to choose "Other browsers" when downloading Flash Player. Well Adobe doesn't have it listed. All they have listed is versions for Chrome, Opera, IE and Firefox.

Does anyone know how to currently get Adobe Flash working for Steam? Thanks

I think there is a standalone version available. Not just for browsers. It gives you the option to choose 64/32bit etc. I'd give you the link but I'm currently on mobile.

EDIT: I'm sorry I mixed it up with Java.

Try this link http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_14.0.0.176_archive.zip

You have to go to the Archived flash versions, because I don't think that there is a Flash player 15 for "other browsers" yet

Actually, you were kinda right. I just googled "Adobe Flash Player standalone" and a link came up to download Adobe Flash 13 for other browsers I think it said.

I'm having the same problem. Tried putting "Adobe Flash Player standalone" into google and nothing, like what you said, popped up. Mind maybe putting the link for other people that could have this problem?

If I can find the link, I will put it up. I'll have to do it later, as I'm on my phone right now.
