EVGA SuperNova 650w 80+ Gold. Also why not go with some Kingston HyperX White ram. They'd look real nice. That motherboard isnt even out in the uk yet :'(

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see that ram. I think the motherboard was just released today in the states. I'm also going with the reference 970 when it releases. I really hate how the EVGAs don't have a backplate.

Are you gonna do a build log and do some modding. Painting the 970 would look awesome if you went with monochrome with some accents

This will give you plenty of power for GTX 970 SLI. You won't get a better psu for the money ($79.99 after rebate)

Cool thanks!

I still think that you can spend less and get less and be totally fine. That EVGA 650W should be plenty.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The EVGA 650W is pretty rubbish though. I would put it on par with a low end Corsair unit. The 750W has a different Manufacturer (Superflower) and is based on the Superflower Leadex platform. The 650W is made by FSP and is based on the Aurum platform.

I thought it was a different PSU made by EVGA that was made by FSP...?

Which ones are made by FSP btw?

This table shows you the FSP ones. Anything NEX is best avoided imo.

Mine had backplates. Evga shipped them for free once I registered them. That promotion might be over. But the above psu can handle 2 970's (same psu I use).
