Will it be the same???

Hey forum, so I'm expecting a 780 in the mail this week and i'm currently running a 3570k and 4.2Ghz. I was wondering if i can expect the same 1080p performance as Linus did in his 1080p performance review even though he is running a 3960x. The reason I'm asking is cause in one of the video card showdown videos I remember Linus saying something along the lines of "Your overclocked 3570k/3770k will perform just as good if not better than our testing platform". So will it? And yes i know the card will be bottle necked. Thanks!

All chips perform different.

3570k & 4.2ghz should be fine.

A 3570k @ 4ghz pretty much doesn't bottleneck any games for all intensive purposes.
