How To use PS3 Controller in PC?

i don't know if this the right section for this post,if it's on the wrong section please moved it.

 

So can anybody help me how to set up a ps3 controller for pc. The video on YouTube are to complicated for me.

To be honest if the videos on youtube are too complicated then you probably just aren't smart enough to do it. They will be able to explain things much easier than any text will be able to.

Works nicely for me. Just hook up the controller. Install the program. Open the program. Go to drivers tab, check the boxes and install.
go back to first tab and choose a profile. I usually use the Xbox360 profile, because that controller basically works with every game.

Yes, one of the best controllers for PC in my opinion.

I say: Avoid MotionJoy. nothing but adware now. I was okay and popular in the past but was abandoned and turned filled with adds, not good option now.

 

You should check out the pcsx2.net forums, theirs a few choices in software to try out and a lot of feedback on the site so it's safer then older shady software.

I use motioninjoy 0.7.1 and it is absolutely fine. no big ads or anything....

Older version may not have ads, but your also using out dated software so that's your choice. MotionJoy isn't that great anyway it just spread really far and got popular at one point and people keep pointing back to it after the fact, there are more options now it's okay to try other things.

The wrapper DS3 service is definitely the way to go. Worked easily, nothing too complicated about it. Never did get MotionJoy to work.

If you don't want to use Better DS3 or Motioninjoy, you can use SCP DS3, and install it with this tutorial here: 

 

 

I use that and it's much much better than using Motioninjoy
