Hey guys!

So, im on a quest to buy myself a new Monitor!
Im pretty new to this topic and i dont Know, which are good and which are Not.
I wanna go for an IPS Display for about 300-400€
Im from Germany. Thank you in advance for your help :)

Edited in, because I think it is information you might need:

It does not need to be big or have high refresh rates or that kinda stuff that does not interest me. I just wanna get off this Asus VE247H I am using right now, but still be an IPS panel because I've heared they make stuff look prettier in general.

1440p or 4k is a nice to have, but not required. same thing goes for screen-size. 24'' or 27'' is not such of a big deal for me and while im gonna use that Asus-thing as a secondary driver anyways--

I guess you have somehow an idea where im going with this.

Beside, I am thinking of an GPU upgrade anyways which will probably come arround next year.

R9 280x right now.

Best regards <3

16:9 please

Alright. Well for your budget I would probably recommend either the BenQ GW2765HT or the BenQ BL2710PT. Both are good options and both have IPS displays, flicker-free backlighting (which will be easier on your eyes). As for availability of both said monitors, you may have to have a look in your location of where you can buy them from. I know that they're both under €350. So in the middle of your min and max budget. ;)

It looks like the monitors I've suggested are the best I can find.

Have a look at the Acer GN246HL, it's not a IPS panel but still has a refresh rate of 144 hz, a 100,000,000:1 contrastratio and only 1 ms respond time. The monitor costs only 250 dollars so you'll save some money.

Please note that whenever you see a monitor contrast ratio greater than 5,000:1 that it's not a realistic contrast ratio. It's a marketing ploy to get people think "WOW! That's a fantastic contrast ratio, that monitor or TV must be good". This is a falsified contrast ratio. Please ignore it. What you want to look for is the static contrast ratio that is usually around 1,000:1 for most IPS and TN displays and around 3,000:1 - 5,000:1 for VA displays. ;)

I know, 100000000:1 is the dynamic contrastratio, the static ratio is 1000:1. but still a good panel

Even that dynamic contrast ratio is false. When tested the dynamic contrast ratio normally falls within 1200:1 - 5,000:1 depending on the panel type. ;)

you two can argue all day long, but I stated to want an IPS panel.
