I'm interested in volt modding my GTX 670 from MSI. I'd like to see if anyone out there is experienced in this and would like to teach me :p I'm a very fast learner, and I'm good with electronics/soldering and I have steady hands. 1.21 volts isn't enough for me, I'd like to get around 1.3 or 1.35 volts.

If anyone knows how to do this, or has a website on how to do it, feel free to post! :)

CPU: Intel i5-2320 @ 3.9gHz

GPU: MSI GTX 670 PE @ 1411/7387

I wanna go fast! :P

IIRC the 670 PE uses the reference voltage controller so the standard kepler volt-mod procedure *may* apply.

NVIDIA limited voltage range to max 1.21V by hardware, having MSB VID6 and VID7 tied to 1 and 0 by hardware (direct connect to power and ground by trace). So if you want VID more than 1.21V than need to cut VID6 connection to VCC and manually connect to GND. Because VID7 already tied to GND I just shorted those two pins together with piece of thin wire.

It surely has a different power delivery apart from that though..

Just watch that you don't burn it out, those resistors are there for a reason :)
