I've been using a VGA cable with a DVI adapter and everyone is telling me that HDMI is much better and that I should use it so I hooked it up with HDMI and the picture looks fuzzy, grainy, blurry and all sorts of bad and I just can't figure out why. I use a TV for gaming, not a proper gaming monitor, I have  Samsung SyncMaster TA550 and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670. I am using my monitors native resolution and it still looks terrible. I tired taking a picture of it with my phone but you can't see it on the picture.

OH I'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE but I fixed it and it's great

just follow this

And apparently it's something retarded about the monitor not recognising it as a pc input, because usually there's overscaling for tv inputs yada yada something retarded

Home is where the heart my desktop is.

Thank you so much, this helped me :D

I was told that there is a difference. Since the cable quality matters in VGA while with HDMI a 2$ cable is the same as a 100$ cable and a bunch of other benefits too. I mean there is nothing wrong but isn't it better with HDMI?
