right guys at the moment i have a asus m5a99fx pro and fx 6300 clocked at 4.6ghz and im starting to get really frustrated with it when i first got it' it was fine and over time (8 months maybe) things have started to go wrong ' first off it was audio' it produces nothing but crackling noises and then Ethernet issues resulting in me buying a add in card! Then usb ports decided they wanted to have 'connection issues' and now its picking up key presses when not doing anything. If i leave notepad open over night by the morning there's all manner of letters and symbols and what not.  I don't believe this to be my keyboard as it done it with the steelseries 6gv2 and the cm storm quickefire tk. As you can imagine playing games this is very frustrating as i pretty much have no control and its getting progressively worse.

Now i was going to upgrade my gpu this week from 270x  4gb to the gtx 970. But now im starting to think i should invest in a decent z97 board and a 4690k instead. (This upgrade was going to happpen at some point anyway) But to be honest i dont really want to swap motherboards because of reinstalling os and apps and everything else' but if it comes to it i will have to.

Unless the geniuses here can think of anyway to fix this issue and i will pick up the 970 (preferred option 270x really doesn't cut it at 1440p)

Now either way i was going to switch over to intel and nvidia anyway' but i think i would rather wait on the motherboard option as at the moment it seems like a expensive upgrade for just a few little fixes maybe.

My question is what would you guys do in this situation??

Sorry for being a bit long winded haha thank's in advance guys and girls :)

I would buy a new mobo and and GPU, since there won't be a huge performance improvement with switching to Intel. I have an Asus M5A97 R2.0 and haven't had any problems so far.

My rig: Intel Core i7-8700K OC 4.8 | NZXT Kraken X62 | ASUS Z370-F | 16 GB Trident Z RGB 3000 (2x8) | EVGA 1070 SC | EVGA SuperNova NEX650G1 | NZXT H700 | Samsung 250GB 850-EVO | 2x 2TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs

Definitely cheaper in the short run but as i mentioned i will be upgrading to intel anyway. The motherboard cpu and gpu will all be getting changed at some point so i can sell all the old amd gear and claim back some money. Its just a matter of what order i do it in ' if anyone can think of  a fix for my key pressing issues which is sort of the main problem at the moment then yes i will just get a gpu and switch to intel down the road.
