hi, first of all english is not my native language, so sorry for my grammar.

I'm planning on building a new pc and i would like some advice and feetback on the parts i chose.

          http://pcpartpicker.com/user/nicetie35/saved/QvwD4D

cpu:               Intel Core i7-4790k

cpu cooler:    Corsair h105

mobo:           Asus Maximus VII Hero

ram:              Corsair Vengeance Pro (red) 2x8GB DDR3-1866

gpu:              Msi GTX 970 4G Gaming

hdd:              Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm (2x2TB)

ssd:              Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

psu:              EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2

case:            NZXT h440 (Black/red)

(changed the PSU and CPU cooler)

Notes:

- This pc will be used for gaming, image manipulation (Photoshop/Sketchbook) , 3d (3ds Max , ZBrush) and learning overclocking.
- The looks are important for me, so i would like to folow the color sceme: black/red and some grey

A few questions:

- what fans are the best for this build? i looked at the noctuas, but the looks.. :(
- i'm thinking of using a led fan at the back (140mm), what are good ones?
- what is the best setup for radiator? push/pull? fans below or above radiator?
- can i game at high settings at a stable 60fps on 1440p with one gtx 970? going sli and multie monitor in future, but gaming will be single screen
- is there an advantage/disadvantage for getting 4x4GB or 2X8GB ram? (for looks i like 4x4 more)
- can i change the case logo light color? or the h105 light color?

Update:    After some research i think i will start with single gtx970 and one 1440p ips monitor. any go sli in the future if the demand is there or if i go multiple monitor setup.

After viewing benchmarks and reading alot of numbers a single gtx970 can run most games in high/ultra at around 50-60fps.

I can always disable AA/AF if needed so i will get a nice 50-60fps on a 1440p with still alot eyecandy ^^.

But i'm a person who wants to be sure so i will look a bit further and maybe ask around with people who have 970 and run on 1440p.

So if you have a gtx 970 on a 1440p monitor, plz let me know your results in gaming.

If you would recomend other parts, fire :) . i will order my parts from "http://www.hardwareversand.de/"  (i'm from europe)

added some ideas about color (thinking about sleeving the cables, and use 2 colored ram):

Thanks  :)

Change a few things

- Change the H100i to H105, the H100i has mounting issues

- Get an SSD in that build

- Change the PSU from RM750 to EVGA G2 750W

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

PSU is fine for SLI.

I doublt you can find a backplate specific to the MSI card, but its worth a shot.

There are tons of good fans. I'm no expert though.

Game preformance will be great, and good choice on IPS. If you dont need a Vesa mount and are ok with glossy screens, the Aceer H236HL is amazing and cheap on ebay. Its 23 inches, good size.

Bit of advice from me  ;)

I could be very wrong

If you want a backplate EK make a clean black backplate :

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-backplates/nvidia-geforce-series/ek-fc970-gtx-tf5-backplate-black.html

750w is definitely enough

bitfenix make nice LED fans:

http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/products/accessories/spectre-led-pwm/

this current rig will easily get constant 60fps on 1080p

I would recommend 1440p it just looks a lot nicer but I would recommend a 980 if you want constant 60fps on high settings for 1440p

He has an SSD.

What do yo think about the NZXT coolers?

Oops, missed the SSD, never mind me.

The Kraken X60 and X61 are great AIO's. Set them in a pull formation (easier to clean). Intake or outtake depends on pressure.

I would probably go with a better PSU.  in Corsair's lineup, the HX or AX series are the way to go.  I personally use the Fractal Design Newton R3 80+ Platinum 600W.

For fans, if you can find a way to hide them, Noctua fans are the best.  They can last ten years or more.  Any fan with a sleeve bearing will get noisy and die in a few years (pretty much all LED fans have sleeve bearings).  Corsair makes nice fans with the changeable color rings, I haven't used them but have heard they are pretty good.

Monitor is the hardest part to chose, for sure.  That is what you'll be looking at for the next 5 years or more.  I find monitor shopping extremely difficult.
