basically i broke my pc. i was reseting it to factory settings when the whole thing went to shit. my disc is broken, and i don't really want to buy a new one (since im selling the pc, hence the topic really) and i'm kinda screwed. so if you have any ideas what to do that would be great.

still have the key code btw.

thanks, peace out

i dont understand how you broke it... what did you break exactly?

uhm, before i reset it it said that it had some missing files to proceed. then when i put the cd inside either the cd or the cd rom broke and stopped at 68 %. then after like 2 hours it shut down, and the pc had just half the OS on it. so it had nothing to boot from.

By disk do you mean CD-Drive or Hard Drive?

You can replace both...

im guessing the CD- drive. since i checked and the CD-disc is intact. the stupid thing broke on me after second use.
