Hey guys! It's been a pretty long time since I've been on the forum!  :) I built a 1000 gaming PC last December and it's still going strong. Now, I am looking to build a more aesthetically pleasing PC because as my first build, my current PC is a mess  :P

1. Budget & Location
Looking to spend about 2500. IrelandDo not need a case. I'm reusing my Corsair  Obsidian 350D because I love it  :D

2. Aim
Not gaming. Looking to build a general use PC for internet browsing, movies, music and some Photoshop. The aim of this is to build an aesthetically pleasing PC so preferably matching colours  :P Red or blue preferably.

3. Monitors
Looking to buy a new monitor (See below)

4. Peripherals
Only peripherals I need are monitor and speakers. I'm not sure if 4k is worth it as even 1080p would be an upgrade for me right now. If anyone could recommend a good combination for my usage that would be great.

5. Why are you upgrading?
Do not have much time for gaming anymore and have just lost interest in it to be honest  :(

P.S.  I've been out of the tech world for a while so forgive me. Would the crappy Intel Graphics be enough if I did go down the higher resolution road for watching movies and such?  And is there new generations of CPU's coming soon?

If you want silent get all be quiet! fans they are literally the quietest fans you will ever hear or not hear them at haha

I was thinking about Noctua but they are far from aesthetically pleasing   :P Good suggestion

2500 euro is bit overkill in this case :P

I know it is but I would like to go crazy with it  ;) To make it look nice I will probably need to spend a lot on custom sleeves and all that good stuff.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/27k8zy (I know its in dollar but there isn't an ireland option and it was in dollar from my last build  :P )

1440p Monitor for very crisp images (thats why it cost more)

It has a good sound card and speakers are good for movies etc

the 750 Ti can power this sufficiently

250GB SSD is Silent

PSU is apparently quite quiet. (21DB)

You can edit fan speeds in BIOS

I used a Be quiet! CPU cooler because it looks quite quiet.

=1,027.50 EUR

Hope this helps, Doge

With the motherboard in this build an i5-4690 iGPU is quite capable of supporting 1080 and higher resolutions in non-gaming applications.

The cpu cooler is not strictly necessary but will help to reduce noise levels. If a more aesthetically pleasing presentation is desired a Kraken X61 would be a suitable, albeit expensive choice.

What is wrong with this? It seems like a pretty decent build.
