h220x needs refill?

so i was watching some reviews on the h220x by swiftech and i saw that you need to refill the liquid? is that true? if so what liquid do i use?

You "need" to, or you "can"?

 

Unless your reservoir is running low on liquid, you shouldn't have to.

 

You can fill it with distilled water. You'll want some type of biocide, however.

If you just use it on it's own and never take it apart to expand it then you won't need to refill the liquid.
