USB wifi Problems

I have a wireless usb in my computer that gives me wifi but when i plug in my usb stick only the usb stick works and i get disconnected from the internet when i remove my usb stick the internet works again? Any way fix this problem?

Please could you specify more system details such as the make/model of both the flash drive and the external Wifi card and I will try to help.

Could you try using USB ports which are further away from each other? It sounds like the drive is causing interference with the wi-fi. If possible, have one in the front and one in the back.

are you plugging them into a hub or ports on the computer directly?
