I been using Logitech G110 keyboard for a few year now and just starting to give up the ghost.

So I now need a new keyboard I want to try a mechanical keyboard but no where I can find has then in to try out, every time I get same old thing we wont get them in because they cost so much.

Ok that's fair enough but how do I know which key switch is best for me? I use my PC for gaming and video editing.

I really love the look of the Corsair K70 in black with the red back light, I know it comes with the Mx reds, would this be a good one to go for? or should I go for a other switch?

I live in Norwich in the UK so if any one knows a place near I can try out other switches that would be very helpful.

I am using the k60 with reds and have another generic keyboard from a local brand with blues [don't have any browns, sorry :P], and my opinion is that the reds are the best for gaming. I felt the reds do not need much force to press down unlike the blues, allowing for faster key presses which are essential for gaming and I found it easier to double press on the reds unlike the blues

In addition to that, many people have found that using blues for gaming made their hands fatigued after a long duration of time so I guess if you are a gamer, then you should stick with the reds. Hope this helps with your purchase :)

I personally am in love with Cherry MX Blue [Got a WASD and a Ducky Shine II with blues] they are just plain awesome.

I have a really big problem with reds, having quite big hands, and my hands having somewhat of a weight, I accidentially activate keys with red switches. They are way too lose for my taste.

You really should see if you can try the switches [there's a testkit for like 10$ from WASD] and find the right ones for you. Because no matter what anyone says, the switch that will suite you the best, is the one YOU like the best, not what "random gamer X" and "random marketing vicitim Y" said ;)
