4690k or 4790k

I dont mind spending the money to get the i7 but and i know i5 is probably fine but i want to know is it better to go with the i7 if i really want to be set for the next 5 years-ish?

I know theres no such thing as future proofing, but that doesnt mean i shouldnt try to be prepared.

I chose the watercooling to try and save some space in my case, that fan is gigantic, i had a cooler master 212 evo and had to mount my side fan on the outside of the case

Then why don't you go with: H110, x61, Nepton

To be honest a Hyper 212 EVO is all you really need on these devil's canyons (I can attest).

 

And a EVGA SuperNova EX650 (something like that) is a very good PSU and is generally not too expensive.
