My first build was a dual-booting hackintosh. As a result the different Mobo's that I could choose from were extremely limited. This time around I'm just going straight windows but I'm not really sure what to look for in a motherboard. I really want to use the FT03 mini in the build so that narrows my choices down to mitx. What do I look for to narrow it down further and find the right board for me?

Thanks but that was my last build. I actually did use tony mac last time. The problem is because I was basically told what Mobo to use I really have no idea how to go about picking one for a normal windows computer.

Don't get shit, get something with USB-3 and the chipset you want. For example, if I wanted to get a motherboard for my build with an Intel Haswell-E CPU, I would look up reviews, find one with loads of USB 3 or in the future, USB Type C and if I wanted to do overclocking, I would get a Z97 chipset mobo

Main rig: i5 4670k OC to 4.1GHz,8GB Ram ,GTX 770, Samsung 840 EVO 500GB(enough for me)

Laptop: Acer Aspire E15-571. Exotic stuff: Orange OPC MKIV for recording my guitar skillz, and play guitar in the bar(Miced)

Phone: iPhone 6 (main phone), Samsung Galaxy S4(my sister gave it to me days after I got my iPhone, I now use it as a secondary phone)

It all depends on what your budget is and what CPU you will be using.

i5 3570k @ 4.5ghz | Zalman cnps9900-MAX | MSI Z77A-GD65 GAMING | 16gb G.Skill | 1600mhz | 2x EVGA GTX660 TI SC in SLI | Antec HCG 750 | Corsair 300R | Win 8.1pro
