I'm deciding whether or not to get a R4 after seeing it on sale on Newegg. I have a few questions though.

1) I've read in reviews that the motherboard standoffs/screws are difficult to install/the incorrect size. Is this true?

2) How is the three step fan controller? Does it feel like it would break easily?

3) Is it true the size panel thumbscrews arrive extremely tightened?

4) Will the HD audio header be long enough to reach the plug on a motherboard by passing through the back of the motherboard tray?

5) Does the front fan mount vibrate or make noise by rattling? Is it a loose or tight fit?

6) How good is the front intake filter?

7) Will airflow and cooling be an issue? To give a perspective, theres 2x Noctua P12 at full speed for intake, 1 exhaust, and 1 graphics card.

1. No its super easy.

2. Fan controller is great, I use it all the time and its a simple switch. Doesn't feel like its going to break.

3. Side panel screws are pretty tight but depends on how well the holes line up. (Manufacturing luck imo)

4. Yes

5. Its tight and doesn't vibrate but I have nice noctuas there that don't vibrate much. (the case comes with fan gromets for vibrating dampening)

6. The intake filter is great, I have a lot of dust being stopped there and the inside of my case is nearly dust free. (I have positive pressure)

7. You can run them all at 7v and its sill damn good. I have 2 intakes from the fron and 1 at the bottom and one out the back. I do ltc mining with runs the graphics card at 100% all day and night and my gpu doesn't get past 75c... Seems like a lot but my gpu gets crazy hot by itself anyways. XFX 6870 with a aftermarket heatsink that wasn't meant for it... Any other graphics card would be completely fine and get great air flow.

Case: Fractal Design R4 (x2 Noctua 140mm Fans, x2 Fractal Design Fans)            Processor: Intel Core i7 3770k @4.2GHz (Hyper 212 Evo)             Audioengine A5+ Black Speakers

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45 ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3                                           Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 1080 SC                                               Corsair K65 RGB Cherry MX Red

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X 4X4GB DDR3-1600                                                     Power Supply: OCZ Z-Series Semi Modular Gold 850W                 ASUS & LG 21.5 Monitor (Dual monitor arm)

1. Nope they work fine, and come with a tool for install.

2. It's a simple switch and would be very had to break.

3. Mine were not.

4. Yes, I did this with mine.

5. It does not, it fits perfectly.

6. One of the better I have seen, and very easy to remove.

7. I am getting great temps in my case, I run a corsair H100i in mine, running 30C idle, 50C load on 2500k at 4.5Ghz 1.38 volts.
