New Updated Desk Area

So I decided to upgrade my desk area as I didn't have enough room to do my assignments. I got my old desk from my parents which I decided to have. I'm just waiting on my G502 from Logitech and everything will be perfect

 

Here it is, I removed the ghetto monitor stand after i took the picture. Ignore the non-matching CD drive, I took that out too.

 

 

So today, i went to Ikea and bought a desk base, 4 legs and so on...

This build only cost me £52 which is pretty cheap, and plus, it was my own design too

 

The wires are not permanently like that, I will be buying a 2 meter wire trunking tomorrow. The tower is going to be lifted up to about 8cm off the ground, I will be building the tower bench tomorrow.

 

It will look something like this.

 

I'm also planning on moving my speaker system from my room on to my desk.

That desk is bigger than you old one? I can't imagine the size of your desk before. Looks like you did a nice job but keep in mind that you eyes should be a little higher than the center of your monitor.

its a little bit bigger. i know, but im thinking of getting a wall bracket for the monitor, and have the monitor stand as a shelf area or something.

mine is defective my sensor is playing up. its a great mouse, im not gonna lie. but i contacted logitech and they're sending me a g502 as a replacement.

Too bad Ikea put a end to their Galant line-up. =/

Are you serious? I'm glad I bought mine when I could. There is literally no other desk that is as multi-monitor friendly as the Galant.

EDIT: Looks like they've been replaced by something new called Bekant.
