Help, PCH fan from Rampage 4 Extreme not working

Nerykrugeer

Hi, I went to check my case inside and see why my SSD was taking a while to load, but them I found out that my PCH fan wasnt spinning at all, I am not sure if that affects to the speed to the SSD to load, what should I do, I already update my BIOS and still the same, check configurations and its all good, is all enable, and the voltage is fine does have power going to the PCH, but fan not spinning. any of you guys know what should I do? besides calling tech support from Asus

Thank in advance for all the help.

(also sorry for my english)

I've heard that it's fine to have the PCH fan disabled even after decent overclocks (apparently even at ~4.5GHz on a 3930K is safe when it's off). You should be able to enable it in the BIOS.

Have a look at the fan when you power on the system..do you see the fan spin..?

What MB do you have..? ASUS forums have a few people who have a similar error after a BIOS update...http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?10332-pch-fan-wont-turn

I have an Asus Rampage 4 extreme, i check when power on and does not spin, I will check the forum, but it wasnt spinning before I upgraded, so I upgrade to see if would solve the problem
