Nothing will show up

I am building my pc and I turned it on and nothing showed up on the screen but the fans came on help

Could you give us a little more info on your system?

 

First thing to check would be all power/cable connectors, including those going from your display adapter to your monitor.

Also check to ensure that your monitor(s)/TV(s) is/are on the proper input selection.

In addition to that^ try clearing the CMOS.
